Why "Greeky with a Squeegee"
Most exterior cleaning companies are named after a colour, a compass direction or somebody's initials, and none of them stick in your head for more than four seconds. This one does.
The name is a joke you remember and a standard we don't joke about. Behind it is a straightforward idea: the outside of your home should be looked after by someone who takes it as seriously as you do, communicates like a professional, and leaves the property noticeably better than they found it.
What "This. Is. Spotless!" actually means
It's a line with a wink in it — but it's also the finishing test. Spotless isn't "mostly clean" or "clean from the street". It's the moment the glass disappears and you're just looking at your yard, the driveway looks the way it did the year it was poured, and there's nothing left in the gutter for the first rain to find.
That's the bar. When a job doesn't clear it, it isn't finished.
The Spartan idea
The Spartan side of the brand isn't about shields and shouting. It's a metaphor for three things that matter in a trade built on repeat customers and word of mouth:

Meet the owner
I'm Stathie, and Greeky with a Squeegee is a father-and-son operation. I run it alongside my son, Dexter — which is a large part of why the standard matters to me. When your kid's name is attached to the work, "good enough" stops being an option somewhere around the first window.
Working together has turned out to be the best part of the business. Dexter has learned that a job isn't finished when you're tired of doing it, it's finished when it's actually done — and I've learned that he'll spot the one streak I walked past. Between the two of us, not much leaves the property unnoticed.
We're local, we answer our own phone, and we treat every property like the neighbours are watching — because in the Fraser Valley, they usually are.
On the tools
The equipment matters more than people expect, and most of what we use exists for one reason: to leave nothing behind on the glass.
All of our water runs through a DI (deionized) filtration system before it ever touches a window. Tap water in the Valley carries dissolved minerals, and when that water dries on glass it leaves the mineral behind — that's what window spotting actually is. Stripping those minerals out means the glass can be scrubbed and rinsed and then simply left to dry, with no towel marks, no streaks and no spotting. It's the reason pure-water pole work finishes cleaner than a rinse with a garden hose ever will, and it's especially useful on upper-storey windows and frames we reach from the ground.
Eco-friendly cleaning products are available on request. Plenty of exterior cleaning needs no chemistry at all — filtered water and the right technique handle most glass. Where a cleaning agent is genuinely needed, we're happy to use environmentally friendlier options, and we'll work around pets, vegetable gardens, ponds and sensitive planting either way. Just tell us when you book and we'll plan the visit accordingly.
